Catania to run in DC mayoral race

On Monday, council-member David Catania filed nominating petitions for the November 4th ballot for Mayor of the District of Columbia. He will run in the race as an independent. He will face the Democratic nominee, fellow council member Muriel Bowser and Carol Schwartz.
