Baltimore police kill man amid struggle

Baltimore county police say an officer shot and killed a suspect who was struggling with another officer.

Police were responding to a report of assault at a Colony Motel at 5:15 p.m. A woman claimed that a man on a motor scooter was causing a disturbance. When the woman asked him to leave, the man drove around her and attempted to strike her with his scooter.

When police arrived at the man’s apartment, the man struggled with one officer and tried to pull the officer’s gun from its holster. Another officer shot the man, killing him. The officer will be placed on administrative leave.
