MARYLAND NEWS – School bus catches fire after crash on District beltway

A Maryland school bus carrying 24 students was rear-ended by another vehicle while riding along on I-495 on Tuesday morning. According to Prince George’s County Fire and EMS who responded to the scene, the bus and the vehicle that crashed into it caught fire. 

The bus was heading to drop the students off at Walker Mill Middle School. There were no injuries reported.
