A Salvation Army truck that was stolen on Saturday night has been recovered and a suspect has been taken into custody. The suspect has been charged with receiving stolen goods according to authorities.

The truck is used to serve hot meals to the homeless on a nightly basis. The Salvation Army has been providing meals to the homeless in the District for 40 years.
