Five military service members were killed when their aircraft crashed into the Mediterranean Sea during a training mission. The aircraft carrying the members crashed during a routine air refueling mission on Friday evening.

“Jill and I are praying for the families and friends who have lost a precious loved one — a piece of their soul,” said President Biden in a statement from the White House.
