Three people are facing charges after a woman’s body found in a ravine. Police have charged Jamarr Rodney Hursey, 25, of Richmond, with conspiracy to commit murder. Yvette L. Hairston, 40, of Richmond, is also facing a conspiracy charge, along with her daughter, Selena Y. Hairston, 21. Samantha Myers’ body was found on March 24, although police believe she was killed on February 28. According to the Richmond medical examiner’s office, Myers died of blunt-force trauma to the head. Yvette Hairston was Myers’ stepsister.
