Kidnap victim safe after DiMaggio killed

Kidnap victim Hannah Anderson was rescued in Idaho on Saturday after an FBI agent shot and killed her kidnapper, James DiMaggio. DiMaggio is also suspected of killing Anderson’s mother and younger brother. Anderson appeared uninjured.

Hannah went missing after cheerleading practice on August 3 in San Diego County, California. The bodies of Christina and Ethan Anderson, Hannah’s mother and younger brother respectively, were discovered approximately 45 miles from DiMaggio’s burned down house the next day. Police were able to discover Anderson’s whereabouts after a couple of horseback riders spotted the pair hiking in the Idaho wilderness.
