8 injured after insulation falls at DC music event
Eight people have been taken to local hospitals with minor injuries after acoustic ceiling foam fell during a music exhibition in Washington, D.C.
Fire department Captain Louis Carter said that the combination of the construction and the vibrations from the music might have caused the dust, debris, and foam insulation to come down onto the audience.
The music event was titled “Go-Go Swing: Washington, D.C.’s Unstoppable Beat”.
