WASHINGTON, D.C. NEWS – Metro to extend rail service hours for New Year’s Eve (new hours)

Metro announced that rail service hours will be extended for New Year’s Eve and Day. Services will stay open till 2 a.m. on both days.

Current construction that has shut down parts of the Red Line is scheduled to be finished just before the holiday. Parking is free at Metro-owned parking lots on holidays.
