VIRGINIA NEWS – Lawmakers extend budget negotiations with Governor Youngkin

Lawmakers in Virginia’s general assembly announced that they reached a compromise with Governor Glenn Youngkin to extend budget negotiations. The compromise stopped what would have been a gridlock as lawmakers continued to debate the state’s budget.

House Republican Leader Todd Gilbert said, “Everybody’s had their posturing.” He continued, “We’ve got to get this done.”
