Two Virginia lawyers have been arrested on charges of two counts each of abduction and malicious wounding after attacking a couple in their 60s in their home Sunday. Husband and wife Andrew and Alecia Schmul allegedly planned the attack because of a workplace dispute. Police say Andrew Schmul gained entry into the couple’s home by impersonating a law enforcement officer, whereupon he proceeded to tase, bind and stab the couple. The “torture session” lasted for hours. At one point, Andrew Schmul reportedly shot at the female victim, but missed. She was able to alert police, and statements say Andrew Schmul left promising he would be back. Alecia Schmul is said to have remained in the car during the incident. After a police chase, Andrew Schmul was found wearing only a diaper, report police. Alecia Schmul, 30, appeared in court Friday in Fairfax County, and was ordered held without bond. Andrew Schmul, 31, has not yet appeared.
