Two hurt in Montgomery County school bus crash

A crash in Montgomery County on U.S. 29, involving a school bus and another vehicle, has left two people hurt. The school bus and a passenger vehicle collided near the intersection of Industrial Parkway and Columbia Pike around 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Officials blocked northbound U.S. 29 at Industrial Parkway near Burtonsville and reopened it around 7:15 a.m. No students were on the bus at the time of the incident. Emergency crews transported two people to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Information about what caused the crash or the bus’ school information has not yet been released.
