Spice Girls ready for another reunion
The British pop girl group, the Spice Girls, is ready for another reunion. Melanie Brown, also known as Scary Spice, revealed that the band will perform for Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee, which marks the Queen’s 60 year reign and is set for June 4. The last time the Spice Girls performed together was during a reunion tour. Their final show was in Toronto, Canada in 2008.
When asked about the 2012 Olympics Brown said, “I think the Queen’s Jubilee concert is the event I’d be looking at more closely for that to happen.” Realizing that she said too much, she said, “I am going to be in such strife for saying that. It’s all so totally bloody top-secret still.” Brown told The Sun that she is “always down for a Spice Girls reunion. I love the Scary hair and platforms. Any time of day or night I’ll be there.”
