Redmond O’Neal, son of Farrah Fawcett, arrested again on drug charges

Redmond O’Neal, the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal, was arrested on a drug charge Tuesday in Santa Monica, Ca, the most recent offense for O’Neal who was convicted on two drug offenses two years ago. According to a department spokesman, police arrested O’Neal during a traffic stop after law enforcement officers search the vehicle and found illegal narcotics. O’Neal was released a year ago from a Pasadena sober living facility where he was undergoing court-ordered drug rehab.

O’Neal’s mother, Fawcett, died in 2009. On the anniversary of her death in 2010, O’Neal was released from the rehab center on a day pass so he could visit his mother’s grave. Said his father Ryan O’Neal at the time, “[Redmond] is recovering from a terrible disease. He seems to have cured himself. We are thrilled about that. And that’s why he’s here, because they let him.”
