‘Partridge Family” star charged with DWI
According to authorities, actor David Cassidy was pulled over in upstate New York for failing to dim his headlights. The former heartthrob was later charged with a DWI after tests showed his blood-alcohol content at .10.
Cassidy was stopped shortly after 12 a.m. on Wednesday about 10 miles south of Albany.
The charge is a felony because Cassidy had a conviction in 2011 for driving under the influence in Florida.
The 63-year-old was freed on $2,500 bail. He is due back in court on Sept. 4.
