Nick and Vanessa Lachey expecting a boy

Nick and Vanessa Lachey announced Wednesday that they’re having a boy. Back in March, Vanessa, 31, revealed to a fan on Twitter that she “always wanted a boy first.” The “Wipeout” hostess and her 38-year-old husband, who started his career as a singer in the ‘90s boy band 98 Degrees, got married in July 2011. The pair told Us Weekly in April that they had decided on a girl’s name, but were having a hard time choosing a boy’s name. Vanessa joked, “We’ve been yelling them around the house to see how they sound and we call them to come to us.” The couple took a trip to Jade Mountain in St. Lucia at the end of May to celebrate their pregnancy.
