The two-year projected budget shortfall for the state of Maryland has reached an expected $1.2 million, according to the Board of Revenue Estimates Monday. The report states that actual revenues are falling short of those predicted, about $148 million lower. Governor-elect Larry Hogan said that the numbers are “no surprise.” Analysts attribute the latest shortfalls to federal spending cuts.
