Wednesday afternoon in the Charles Village neighborhood of Baltimore, heavy rains led to a landslide that sent cars parked on 26th Street tumbling into the ground falling to the railroad tracks below. Local fire departments evacuated residents from their homes nearby the scene; there have been no reported injuries. The heavy rain that has soaked the Mid-Atlantic is forecast to fall through Friday morning. Measurements from BWI show that at least 3.7” has fallen as of 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
