Ian Somerhalder auctions off date

Actor Ian Somerhalder is auctioning off a lunch date in Atlanta via Charitybuzz. The 33-year-old “Vampire Diaries” star will use the money earned from the auction to help build an animal sanctuary. Somerhalder told Entertainment Weekly, “There are too many animals that are abused, mistreated, and abandoned. They’ve been ostracized, they have behavioral issues, and they’re starving.” The actor also said that he “will try not to bore you to tears” during the date. The auction is currently live and will run through July 18. Travel and accommodations are not included.
