ENTERTAINMENT NEWS – Singer Morgan Wallen storms out of SNL, “Get me to God’s country”

Morgan Wallen walked out early from his appearance on Saturday Night Live. During a signoff for the episode, the host Mikey Madison and musical guest Morgan Wallen spoke center stage, but only for a few moments before Wallen abruptly walked off the stage. The cast and musical guests traditionally stay on stage during the sign-off for SNL each week as the credits roll.  However, Warren left the stage immediately after Madison said goodnight. He then walked off the stage toward the audience and out of the view of the camera. Wallen later went on his Instagram and posted on his tory a picture of a plane with writing saying, “Get me to God’s country.”

The walk-off sparked a wave of criticism from people all over social media. Wallen was already a controversial figure after he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless endangerment after he threw a chair off the roof of a bar. His walk-off was characterized by some online as a tantrum, and many fans of SNL took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram to air their grievances with Wallen’s behavior.
