Arlington County residents to be offered free flu shots

Those who volunteer for a public health emergency simulation will be eligible for a free flu shot on Election Day. The simulation will feature practice medical paperwork and medication dispensing representatives, and will last approximately 30 minutes. The flu shots will be offered from 9-11 a.m. at Key Elementary School. “This is a great opportunity for members of the community to protect themselves against the flu,” Public Health Director Reuban Varghese said.
