All eyes on Ohio as Election Day draws closer

As the fateful Election Day draws ever closer the presidential campaign remains a dead heat, if anything it appears to have gotten even closer. Both the Romney and Obama are putting tremendous energy into winning over Ohio. Romney is not shy about vocalizing the necessity of him winning Ohio in order to win the election. It is well known that no Republican has ever won the presidency without also winning Ohio. “Your state is the one I’m counting on by the way,” said Romney to a crowd of over 20,000 supporters in Ohio “.This is the one we have to win.” Romney told the crowd his team planned to fan out across the country over the weekend for what the campaign has named the Romney-Ryan Real Recovery Road Rally, or “R6 for short.” Romney plans to fly to New Hampshire to hold an early morning rally, before heading across the country for campaign stops in Iowa and Colorado, and finally returning to Colorado Saturday night.
