The band Kool & the Gang was inducted into the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their induction was announced by Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Richie on American Idol Sunday night. The band is known for their songs “Get Down On It” and “Celebration.”

In a post on social media, Bell said, “Congratulations to the other inductees and THANK YOU to everyone who voted! Feels good to be officially part of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!”
