A data center complex near Gainesville, Virginia has been approved by the Prince Williams County Board of Supervisors. The board’s public hearing session lasted for more than 24 hours as hundreds of people signed up to speak.

Those who opposed the new complex cited negative environmental impacts and noise problems. Those in favor cited the potential increase in tax revenue.
