MARYLAND NEWS – Maryland school districts fail to met pre-pandemic enrollment levels

Montgomery and Prince George’s county school districts, two of the largest in the state, have not met the previous pre-pandemic enrollment numbers. All across the nation, data shows that some of the largest school districts continue to fail to reach the enrollment levels of pre-pandemic. 

“Enrollment does move throughout the school year,” said Seth Adams, the associate superintendent for facilities management for Montgomery County Public Schools. “We have students that come in, whether it be international enrollment or within the country.”
