POLITICS – Governor Nikki Haley endorses Marco Rubio

Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio won the endorsement of South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley on Wednesday. Haley’s endorsement came only three days before the South Carolina primary, and may provide Rubio with a crucial lift in the polls. Haley has recently been elevated within the Republican party after making comments about Donald Trump’s “divisive” politics. Explaining why she endorsed Rubio, Governor Haley stated, “I wanted somebody that was going to go and show my parents that the best decision they ever made was coming to America.”
