Police seek suspect in Alexandria rape and abduction

Police are searching for a man who raped and abducted a woman last week in Alexandria. Alexandria police say a 23-year-old woman let a man she met through the Internet into her hotel room on Nov. 16. The armed suspect raped the victim and then forced her to leave Alexandria with him. The suspect is described as a black man about 6 feet tall and weighing between 180 and 220 pounds. Anyone with information about the incident can contact police at 703-746-6289.
