Woman arrested for spitting on police officer

A Reston woman is facing charges for assaulting a Fairfax County Police officer on Tuesday. Officers first reported to the scene to investigate a hit-and-run before being assaulted by a bystander. Jennifer Escobar Chinchilla, 21, was charged with disorderly conduct after spitting in an officer’s face and attempting to kick another officer. Police also found marijuana in her possession.
