George H.W. Bush in fair condition after breaking bone in neck
Former President George H.W. Bush was hospitalized on Thursday after breaking a bone in his neck during a fall. Spokesman Jim McGrath said on Twitter that the elder Bush is doing OK and will be in a neck brace. It is unknown when he will be released from the hospital near his summer home in Portland, Maine. The 91-year-old has had several health issues recently, including bronchitis, and has a form of Parkinson’s disease. He is the oldest living former U.S. president.
