Dave & Busters to open new location in Prince Georges County
Popular food/entertainment chain Dave & Busters has plans to open its first location in Prince George’s County. The full-service restaurant and video arcade destination has leased 40,000 square feet at the Ritchie Station Marketplace shopping center in Capitol Heights. Dave & Busters will be part of a 120,000-square-foot revamp of the retail center that will also include a DSW shoe warehouse and an Ashleigh Furniture showroom. The project is expected to cost more than $20 million. The new addition of Dave & Busters will kick off a focus on more entertainment and restaurant tenants for the Marketplace. As part of that plan, the developer will lease at least two, smaller, in-line restaurant sites and several restaurants at standalone sites around the center. Dave & Busters typically attracts visitors from a radius of about 30 miles. Dave & Busters will join BJ’s Wholesale, Big Lots, TJ Maxx, Bed Bath & Beyond at the Ritchie Station Marketplace.
