The D.C. Council voted unanimously Tuesday on a bill that would limit the ability of employers to demand marijuana tests for job applicants. The bill will allow the testing only if and after a conditional job offer has been made, and while employed by that company. The bill is under congressional review, and therefore has not yet taken effect. The decision comes after a recent decision to legalize possession of certain amounts of marijuana.
