Gillespie concedes to Warner in narrow Virginia Senate race

Ed Gillespie has conceded the Virginia Senate race to Democrat incumbent Mark Warner. The announcement came at a 1 p.m. press conference, reports the Associated Press. Incumbent Warner lead the vote by an unexpectedly slim margin of 16, 727 votes. Virginia codes allow a candidate to ask for a recount if the tally is within one percent.
