Maryland mother abuse 10-month-old

Prince George’s County police have arrested a woman who allegedly abused her 10-month-old son.Twenty-year-old Jacqueline Vanessa Diaz-Pineda is facing charges of first and second degree child abuse, after police responded a call from the 9300 block of Lynmont Drive for a report of an infant suffering a medical emergency. Diaz-Pineda admitted to assaulting her baby, after he was rushed to the hospital and remains in critical condition. She is being held at the Department of Corrections on a $500,000 bond.
