5 Hurt in Baltimore house fire
According to fire officials, five people, including two firefighters, were injured as a result of a one-alarm house fire in northeastern Baltimore. Flames and thick smoke were coming from all levels of the duplex on Glendale Avenue Thursday morning as firefighters approached the scene. Ian Brennan, the fire department spokesmen, said firefighters rescued three women form the home, two of them hanging from rear windows. The two were transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in serious condition. The third woman was discovered inside and taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Two firefighters were treated for minor injuries.
