Man dies after being shot while deer hunting

A Prince George’s County man has died from injuries obtained during a deer hunting trip.

Sixty-one-year-old Thomas Michael Harris was shot in the head with a shotgun in Sussex County Monday.  He died Tuesday.

Harris was dressed in the “required blaze orange” when another hunter shot him while aiming at a deer.

Police are continuing their investigation into the scene.

A commonwealth’s attorney will determine whether the man who shot him will be charged.
