Woman arrested after 4th paint vandalism case in D.C.

The removal of green paint from two chapels inside the National Cathedral continues after police arrested a woman for vandalism. The arrest comes after several local landmarks were found splattered with green paint last week.

Fifty-eight-year-old Jiamei Tian was charged with defacing the property.

Tian was arrested near the cathedral on Monday after green paint was found there. She is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.

Since Wednesday, there have been four incidents of vandalism with paint in D.C. Tian has not been charged in other cases where green paint was found.
