Rapper DMX arrested in South Carolina

Rapper DMX has been arrested in South Carolina and charged with driving under the influence.

According to Greenville County Jail, the 42-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons was arrested on Friday. He was also charged with driving without a license.

Last year, Simmons was arrested in Spartanburg County under suspicion of driving without a license, but was released after paying a fine.

Records currently show that Simmons has been released.

In 2011, the rapper was arrested in Phoenix after a police officer clocked him driving at 102 mph. At the time, he had just been released from prison on probation revocation for failing to submit to drug testing and for driving without a license.
