12-year-old attempts to rob man in D.C.

A 12-year-old reportedly tried to rob a man of his cell phone in D.C. on Wednesday.

D.C. police said the incident happened at 1:19 p.m., saying the suspect was 12-years-old and armed.

The suspect allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim and unsuccessfully tried to take the cell phone. The victim described the suspect as being 4 feet 6 inches tall.
