Charges confirmed for murdered toddler
A judged has certified the murder charges associated with a man accused of intentionally drowning his 15-month-old son in order to collect a life insurance policy.
At a hearing on Monday, prosecutors presented evidence that Prince McLeod Rams died of drowning in October during an unsupervised visit with his father. The drowning has prompted other investigations into the deaths of two others who were close to the father, Joaquin Rams.
Rams’s lawyer questioned the prosecutors’ evidence by suggesting that Ram’s son was ill.
