Ryan Gosling stands up for cows

Ryan Gosling sent a letter to the National Milk Producers Federation urging them to stop the practice of removing a calf’s horns. He called the practice barbaric and suggested farmers learn to breed genetically hornless cattle.

The letter was released in People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The 32-year-old has worked with this organization previously when he suggested that KFC slaughter their chicken in a more humane manner.

A spokesperson for the National Milk Producers Federation claims dehorning cows is a necessary process that increases the safety of the cattle.
