Teenager shot by police officer inside of stolen vehicle

A shooting occurred on Saturday after a police officer stopped a teenager from driving a stolen car. Police say the teenager ran over the officer’s foot while the officer approached the car, which was stopped due to traffic. Police officers proceeded to open fire on the vehicle, causing minor gunshot injuries to both the driver and the passenger. The offenders were able to drive away after the shooting, but were soon pulled over and taken into custody.
