Producer Hawk Koch elected film academy president‎

Producer Hawk Koch is the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ new president. The group’s board of governors elected the 66-year-old “Collateral Damage” producer to its top office position Tuesday. He will serve for a one-year-term. Koch served as first vice president of the film academy last year and has represented its producers’ branch as a governor for nine years.
