Pepco: Power restored to 90 percent of homes affected by storm
Pepco, the electric service provider to Washington, D.C. and counties in Maryland, said it has restored power to 90 percent of homes affected by last week’s Mid-Atlantic storms, ahead of its own estimate to get power back to customers.
The electric company said on Wednesday that almost 400,000 customers had their power restored. Pepco says the remaining 46,000 customers should have their power restored by late Friday.
