VA to open Beltway Express Lanes

Virginians and the many area drivers who commute through Virginia on the Beltway are encouraged to sign up for E-ZPass ahead of the opening of new Express Lanes next Saturday. The new flex Express Lanes will only be opened to drivers with an E-ZPass, and are intended to alleviate some of the daily traffic voes faced by commuters and encourage carpooling.

Drivers who already have E-ZPass have nothing to worry about, and will not be charged extra.
