Pakistanis march in protest of drone strikes

Pakistani politician Imran Khan is currently leading a two day march in protest of USA drone strikes on Pakistani soil. The march began in the nation’s capital city, Islamabad, and is due to end in the South Waziristan region. The march set out with a few hundred supporters with the intent of rallying more along the way. It is possible Pakistani authorities will attempt to stop the march before it reaches the predominantely tribal area. The rally is meant to draw attention to the drone strikes and the assertion that they have cost the lives of dozens of Pakistani civilians. “There is a mes created by this so-called war on terror,” Khan said, “which has become a war of terror.”
