Questions for Gray only raise more questions

District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray says it “just raises more questions” when he comments on the long –running federal investigation on his 2010 campaign.

So far, four campaign aides have pleaded guilty to felonies related to Gray’s winning Democratic primary campaign over Adrian Fenty. The most recent guilty plea was Vernon Hawkins, a friend of the mayor who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.

Gray said on Friday that he does not comment about the probe because he and his attorney believe “it’s just best to let the investigators do their work and let it play out.” He also believes that people assume he has more information that he actually has.
