Obamas adopt 2nd White House dog

According to the White House, the Obamas have added a second dog to their family. They have named her Sunny.

Sunny is a Portuguese Water Dog – the same breed as the Obamas’ first dog, Bo. Sunny was born one year ago in June and arrived at the White House on Monday.

The White House says the Obamas will donate in Sunny’s honor to the Washington Humane Society.

The Obamas adopted their first dog in April 2009 as a campaign promise to daughters Malia and Sasha.
