Obama will speak at unveiling of Martin Luther King Jr. memorial

President Barack Obama has announced that he plans to speak later this month at the unveiling of the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial in downtown Washington D.C. The memorial, which is located at the Tidal Basin between the Jefferson and Lincoln memorials, commemorates the fallen Civil Rights leader. The president will speak on Aug. 28 which will highlight a week of events in tribute of King.
