Nationals seeking summer mascots

The Washington Nationals will be holding auditions for several openings playing one of the team’s presidential mascots. The mascots: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Howard Taft, stand 12-feet tall and compete in a race during the fourth inning. Those interested in the job would be required to withstand the weight of the 45-pound costume while running and jumping, and must stand at least 5 feet 7 inches.
