Montel Williams part of group lobbying for marijuana license

TV celebrity Montel Williams reportedly part of a group lobbying for licenses to grow and dispense medical marijuana in Washington D.C. Reports by city records show that Abatin Wellness Center, a non-profit organization, is interested in opening a facility that can distribute medical marijuana.

Williams is a strong advocate for medical marijuana, speaking up for it since he uses the drug to relieve pain caused by multiple sclerosis. Recently this year, Williams was involved in a similar deal in California.
